What to see and do

The Prince Edward Theatre provides an all-inclusive, unforgettable experience for the theatre lover.

The Theatre

The theatre has been home to many different groups since its opening in 1930. From amazing theatrical works to radio and even cinematic productions, the Prince Edward Theatre has truly stood the test of time. While it has been remodeled several times over the years, careful attention was paid to honor the original design. In keeping with the Art Deco style of the 1920s and 1930s, guests will be transported to a time gone by.

Food and Beverage

The Prince Edward Theatre is home to five licensed bars for patrons to enjoy. Located at the street level is the Mozart Bar. The Dress Circle Bar, located on the second level, offers access to the balcony so guests can enjoy a drink before the show.

Located on the stall level, guests will find the Stall Bar as well as the Stalls Soft Drink Bar. And finally, the Grand Circle Level hosts a bar for guests seated in that area. Please note that hot food is not served and any food items found in the auditorium must have been purchased from one of the hospitality vendors.

Special Occasions

For special occasions and private parties, the Prince Edward Theatre has two, well-appointed rooms available for hire. The Princes Room can accommodate up to 24 people and the cosy Amadeus Room can host up to 12 guests.

The theatre offers several package options to help guests create an unforgettable evening. For package pricing and to reserve one of these well-appointed rooms as part of your theatre experience, guests should contact the theatre.

Stasher and Luggage Storage

For guests who are just arriving in London or catching one more show before heading back home, the Prince Edward Theatre does provide access to a luggage storage area. It should be noted, however, that space in the luggage storage area is rather limited and does fill up quickly.

For this reason, the theatre has a partnership with nearby Stasher facilities who offer luggage and bag storage to hotels and theatres all across London. There are several facilities within walking distance of the theatre and the theatre staff will be happy to assist any guest with the storage of their personal belongings.
